Women's Day Celebration 2019

As a mark of respect to the matchless, determinant CigniWoman who keeps our engines up and running, we celebrated the International Women’s Day 2019 with much fervor, where everyone had a whale of a time. The celebrations kick-started with a high-spirited FlashMob performed by our talented Cignitians, followed by a witty poem on Womanhood.

The top management of Cigniti addressed the employees on the occasion. Here are a few images from the day.

Rewards & Recognition

Appreciation and recognition are two simple, yet very effective means that help keep employees happy and motivated.

Continuing with our practice to recognize and reward the contributions of our dedicated and talented professionals, we recently organized our Quarterly Rewards & Recognition Felicitation ceremony on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

The carefully identified employees received a citation and their achievements were read out. The four categories in which the awards were given were:

PRIDE: For excellence in Project Execution; SPRINT: For Innovation; MILE: For excellence in Leadership; STAR: To our Star Rookie employees

Here are a few glimpses from the event.

A Soldier Never DiesThe tri color flag,  the trumpets and a grand salute, this is how a soldier is welcomed when he does something so special which inspires the entire nation…when he endanger his own present to secure our future… when he makes the ultimate sacrifice and lays down his life for the country…. They are welcomed because “A Soldier Never Dies”.

They live and thrive in our memories, our gestures and the tri color in which they arrived home for the last time. Every time you see a flag, it’s not just a saffron, white and green color piece of cloth, it’s a home for numerous celebrated and unsung heroes who laid their life so that our flag can be raised high. The tri color which represents our holy land…our country…our mother embraces all of her sons forever because “A Soldier Never dies”.

Every soldier in himself is an institution of 3 Is – Intensity, Integrity and Intelligence. An institution which passes on its legacy to the future generation comprising of those few out of the millions who have the courage and commitment to carry on the legacy for years to come. Sacrifice for a soldier is not just a word it’s an ideology. And just like an ideology “A Soldier Never Dies”.

Through all the hardships a soldier goes through – harsh weather conditions, lack of proper amenities and above all the pain of being away from their loved ones, a soldier always emerge as a winner. A quality which makes them special and stand apart from the rest, a quality which inspires us to overcome challenges in our own adversity. A soldier is not just an individual in a uniform, he is an inspiration to the millions fighting their own battle and just like an inspiration “A Soldier Never Dies”.

For all those who laid their lives fighting today for a better tomorrow, their names will be called out loud and clear…every time a battalion prepares for a march or for another battle…they will join the forces even though they cannot be seen, they will be there to support and inspire their fellow brothers because “A Soldier Never Dies”.

The families left behind hold their heads held high…for they know what their son, father, brother or husband has achieved, something which not everyone can do. They know the dream of a soldier is not to get medals and accolades, it is to serve and protect his nation come what may. A soldier doesn’t want a war but believes if death is inevitable…it must come on the battle ground and he should come back home wrapped in that tri color.

The loss of the family is irreplaceable, emotions of deep pain are expressed but they still doesn’t back down from preparing another soldier in the family because they also believe in the lost soldier’s ideology that “A Soldier Never Dies”.
