Project Cignificance

With the twin objectives of providing quality education to the under privileged children and support in building better infrastructure at schools run by local governments especially in under developed regions, Cigniti has associated with GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, a CSR arm of GMR Group.

Cigniti donated new classrooms to a Govt. Primary School near Hyderabad, India on August 22, 2019. We invited one of our US-based clients to inaugurate the classrooms that were constructed with our funds.

Cigniti donated a computer lab at a Govt. High School near Hyderabad, India in February 2020. Mrs. Rajeshwari, w/o our Chairman Mr. C V Subramanyam along with Nanda Padmaraju, SVP, Shiva Prasad, AVP-Delivery, and one of our UK-based clients inaugurated the computer lab and distributed study material to the students.

Cigniti supported school children of a Govt. Girls High School, near Hyderabad, by providing school infrastructure including textbooks, study tables, science lab equipment and other study material. Mrs. Rajeshwari, w/o Chairman & MD, Mr. C V Subramanyam, along with other family members presented the material and interacted with the children and teachers of the school. Cigniti team along with one of our clients have also participated and interacted with the students at the school.

We inaugurated Cigniti’s Kidsmart Center at a Govt. Primary School near Hyderabad. We invited one of our clients from UK to inaugurate the center.

The kids were very excited to try their hand on the computer systems. The center also accommodates drawing, painting, story books and other recreational material for the kids.

CSR Initiatives

Cigniti is able to reach out to several schools in Telangana region with its educational videos. We have associated with a Foundation to distribute the videos in schools and has received a very positive feedback. Our CSR team started focusing on measuring impact of the videos on the school children by comparing results and pass percentages of previous years.

With a vision to provide quality education to the under-privileged, Cigniti realized that there is a need for quality content. As part of its CSR initiatives, the Company, under the name ‘Project Cignificance’ has worked with Khan Academy to translate their education videos to the Telugu language. Having subsequently realized the need for new content to fill the curriculum gaps, the Company has also developed videos in line with state governments’ syllabus in the Khan Academy style in Telugu.

Currently, the company has developed 1200+ videos of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from Class V to X.
