As the Global Head of Marketing & Demand Generation, Subhendu is focused on increasing Cigniti’s brand awareness & reach, deepening relationships with customers, and driving Cigniti toward the next phase of growth. With more than 17 years of industry experience in IT and proven track record in crafting and driving implementation of lean marketing strategies, Subhendu takes pride in delivering results & building high-performance marketing teams to achieve higher brand recall, consideration and revenue growth.
Prior to joining Cigniti, Subhendu worked as the Head of Digital Marketing at Tata Business Support Services. Earlier, he served as the Head of Marketing at Mindfire Solutions where he leveraged digital marketing, marketing automation and content marketing to achieve impressive growth. Subhendu started his career with Infosys on the Software development side, before transitioning into a Sales & Marketing role post his MBA. He did his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from NIT Rourkela & MBA from SP Jain Singapore where he earned the prestigious Dean’s List Award.
Subhendu is a speaker at diverse national and international forums on marketing and is a recipient of several industry awards including Top 50 Brand Leaders Asia (2017), Digi100 (2018) from Adobe & Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders by World Marketing Congress for five years in a row (2015-19). He is a strong proponent of "Customer focused messaging" and believes that "Contextual data-driven storytelling with empathy" has the potential to revolutionize how businesses are perceived in the future.
