On September 17, 2014 Apple released its most ambitious smartphones with large screen size iPhone 6 (4.7 inch) and iPhone 6 Plus (5.5 inch) in line with consumers’ expectations. Apple also released its latest mobile software system, iOS 8 that was riddled with major bugs initially. However consumers are adopting the new software update more slowly than they did for past releases. The company said on a webpage that 47 percent of Apple mobile devices are running iOS 8 after it was released about two and a half weeks ago.

For the first time Apple has released phones with different screen sizes, Apple has given importance to apps that are compatible to the bigger screens that the smaller ones , if your app is not compatible with newer screen sizes then your users may leave lower ratings or negative feedback which will mean lower exposure in the App eco system.

iOS 8 is definitely an improvement to almost every core app, and is a solid system upgrade across the board, but until we know how these other third-party-based features pan out and how people receive them, iOS 8’s killer feature may still be on the horizon.
